Wilderness Survival Essentials
Fire. Water. Food. Shelter. Building and maintaining the skill set to secure these core four priorities is a rite of passage for anyone who ventures into the outdoors. In this 1-day course, you’ll be initiated into the essentials of wilderness survival.
You’ll gain hands-on knowledge of how to reliably and effectively make fire in a variety of conditions, how to locate water and make it safe to drink, how to make field-expedient shelters to protect you from the elements, and go on a walkabout to learn how to identify native edible and medicinal plants. More importantly, you’ll learn the mindset and mental preparation necessary to maintain a positive mental attitude and make it out alive. Whether you’re a beginner, or an experienced woodsman in need of a refresher, this course will orient you to what you need to PREVAIL in the wild.
