Every outdoor enthusiast has a bucket list. It looks different for all of us. For some, it might be taking a trophy buck, or starting a fire with a bow drill. Others might want to hike the length of the Appalachian Trail, or run a Class V rapid. But there’s one thing that’s on just about everyone’s list: Building your own bow.

This course offers the opportunity for you to do exactly that. In this comprehensive weekend course, we’ll offer one-on-one guidance and focus on bow design, performance and the fundamentals of tactical and intuitive shooting. You will leave with a fully functional, high performance primitive bow that will shoot fast, smooth and accurately over long range. This workshop requires no previous experience – we will guide you through every step of the process.

This workshop requires advance notice to prepare the materials for the class. When you register, please contact us so we can help you determine your draw length and length of pull. This will be necessary for you to order the correct bow kit through the link provided below. Unlike most of our courses, there will be no option to pay at the door. Payment in full via credit/debit card or PayPal will be required upon registration.

During this course you will make your bow, as well as critical accessories such as an arm guard and slip fingers, and of course, your arrows. Once your bow is built, the class will shift gears into a course in tactical and intuitive shooting. You’ll get the opportunity to brush up on your skills, prep for hunting, tune your bow and arrows, and even compete against each other! The age-old art of archery holds many rewards, including building focus, confidence, strength and independence. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to join in this peak experience – register now!
