MoraKniv Eldris
MoraKniv Eldris
Most people’s reaction when they first see the Eldris is, “Cute knife… what happened to the rest of it?” True, it may not look how you’d expect a “survival knife” to look, but this little blade is surprisingly useful for a wide variety of woodland tasks. For carving, whittling, or any other fine detail work with wood, it can’t be beat. Its length becomes an advantage when carving cups, bowls, spoons, or anything else where a bigger blade would just get in the way. Worn as a neck knife, reaching for it to do anything from cutting cordage to slicing cheese becomes utterly reflexive. Its sharpened 90-degree spine is perfect for striking ferro rods and processing tinder. With its 2.8 oz. weight, you can keep it around your neck or in the side pocket of your pack and not even know it’s there… until you need it.
