Sunday Afternoon Preparedness:
Becoming the Grey Man Workshop
A twice-monthly, family-friendly workshop covering a wide array of preparedness skills.
A quick internet search of “Grey Man” will yield hundreds of images and videos of people walking head down, hands in their pockets, slumped shoulders wearing generic gray hoodies. Being non-descript has become a uniform of its own. Like our Lead Instructor J.J. Morris says, “Trying hard not to get noticed gets you noticed hard!” In our society, where the frayed edges are starting to unravel, moving through urban environments can be extremely dangerous and even life threatening – if events continue to follow their current path, expect this to become the norm. Remove law enforcement from the equation, and the predators come out to prey on those perceived as weak. There are two ways to do this - you can try to Chuck Norris your way through it, but let’s face it - that only works on the big screen. Legality and practicality aren’t in favor of shooting your way out. Your other option is to learn how to manipulate the human mind to achieve the ultimate goal- hiding in plain sight, and moving through danger undetected. In this course you will learn the art of “tradecraft”- a skill set where the objective is to blend into any area like you belong there, and if need be, help others stay safe as well. This is a crash course in tactical psychology - we’ll explain the science of how people see you, the role your R.A.S. (Reticular Activating System) plays in your quest for operational security for you and your loved ones, what your gear says about you, and even how the colors you wear affect how others perceive you. Don’t follow the herd that subscribes to the typical YouTube certified, keyboard warrior mentality. War is deception. The last thing we’ll say about this course is this: Whatever you think you know about “Going Grey,” forget it. This is a whole different game, and it’s like nothing you’ve ever played before. There is NO OTHER Grey Man class like this one out there-guaranteed!
